We’re proud to announce that Topp Cycling will be powering The British Continental’s National Road Series previews throughout the 2026 season.
As announced today, the previews will appear as “National Road Series previews powered by Topp Cycling”, bringing a new layer of analysis to some of the biggest races on the British domestic calendar.

The goal is simple: help fans understand the racing a little better.
Race previews sit in an interesting space. Part of the job is describing what’s obvious:
🗺️ the route
⛰️ the climbs
🛣️ the roads
🛣️ the weather
But the real intrigue lies in the questions beneath it all: where the race might split, which terrain suits which riders, and how the course might shape the outcome.
As the British Continental article puts it, there is always a tension at the heart of a preview; between what can be seen on the map and what might happen once the racing begins.
That’s where we come in.
At Topp Cycling, performance data sits at the centre of how we help riders improve and understand their training. Our work is built around analysing rider performance, race history and key indicators to better understand how riders compare; and with that how races might unfold.
It’s an approach rooted in a belief we’ve held from the beginning.
“I founded Topp Cycling because I believe World Tour-level training and insight shouldn’t be limited to the sport’s elite riders.”

Cycling has never had more data available to riders, but interpreting it is still the challenge. The real advantage at the highest levels of the sport is the support structures that help riders make sense of the numbers.
Our aim is to make that kind of thinking accessible to more riders and more fans.
Working with The British Continental felt like a natural fit.
As Jake said in the announcement:
“A lot of people work incredibly hard to make the domestic scene happen, from riders and teams to organisers and volunteers. If we can help shine a light on that and support coverage of the racing, we’re proud to play a part.”
The National Road Series sits at the centre of the British road season and it deserves previews that go deeper than a list of favourites. This 2026 season, we’ll be helping add another layer to those previews, bringing performance data and race analysis to the conversation.
